(Psalm 27:5-6)…..For in the time of troubleHe shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
What do the Scriptures tell us of God’s protection over us? His protection is…….
- Continuous – (Psalm 121)
- Powerful – (Psalm 18:1-19)
- Sure – (2 Timothy 4:17-18)
God takes special care to assure you and me that He will always love and care for us. He assures us that we are His calling (Galatians 1:1-4) (2 Timothy 1:8-11) (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14). He made us holy, without blame in His presence (Colossians 1:21-22). He has allowed us to know Him (John 17:3) (1 John 5:18-21). One of the most powerful things about the love the Father has for His children is that it is unconditional. You might be thinking, “Pastor can that really be true?” The answer is YES! We do not earn His love, instead He has purposed to love us, even before we belonged to Him – (Romans 5:6-11) (1 Timothy 1:15). What a way for our Father to say He loves us.
