He Is Risen!

Posted on April 18, 2022April 18, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 18th, 2022

Well, it is the day after our celebration of our Lord’s resurrection and I just want to write down a few reminders for you, especially if you did not hear the truth preached at your home church. I say that realizing that for many churches, the programs on resurrection day are more to do with chocalate bunnies and egg hunts.

How important is Jesus’ resurrection from the grave? If Jesus had not been raised from the dead our – gospel preaching, and our faith is all vain, and we are still in our sins, all believers have perished at death, having no atonement for their sins. We would have no hope!! (1 Corinthians 15:12-19). Since Jesus has risen from the dead, It is proof that God has accepted Jesus’ death as a sacrifice for our sins! (Romans 8: 31-34). His resurrection is proof of our justification (Romans 4:20-25). We have hope concerning our own resurrection (1 Peter 1:3-5). Power is now available to live the Christian life (Romans 8:8-11).

The redeemed man/woman owes Jesus Christ nothing less than all of themselves. He demands our complete loyalty to Him (Romans 14:8-9). Is He your Lord? Listen, do our lives demonstrate that we serve a risen Lord and Savior? It should, if He is our Savior then our life belongs to Him (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).

The resurrection of Jesus Christ should not go unfelt today. The unbeliever, as he/she is drawn by God to Himself needs to examine the evidence, believe and place faith in the finished work of Christ. The believer, must never lose sight of what it took to provide him/her with salvation. May all of us never forget “The Significance Of The Resurrection” of Jesus Christ.
