Where does one go for help when everything around him seems against him and falling apart? We know the answer to this, but it is not always our first recourse (not usually anyway). We should always go to God in prayer, much like we see in David (Psalm 4:1) (Psalm 5:1-3) (Psalm 17:1-2,6) (Psalm 38:15). Are you in the middle of a hardship or trial, and feel like everything is falling apart? What will you do? We need to remember to pray to God not just when you are in trouble, but when you are not in trouble also. When there is trouble He is the only One who can vindicate us (help us) (Colossians 4:2-4) (Romans 12:9-13). You see, David knew that God would answer him (though not always the way he wanted). We have the same promise in our prayer life (1 John 5:14-15). When we are facing troubles let us always remember to go to God in prayer (1 Peter 5:6-7).
