Men Are You Fat? (pt. 3)

This morning we are still looking at (2 Timothy 2:1-2). God is looking for fat men to use. Do you qualify? God wants men who are Faithful, Able, and Teaching. This morning let’s address the “Teaching” attribute that God wants in men. God wants men who can teach His word to others. But first we need to be men who prepare ourselves. Men who do not wait for others to teach them, but study themselves to show themselves approved (2 Timothy 2:15) (1 Timothy 4:13-16). Men we ought to take every opportunity to learn God’s word, but how are we doing in this?God has set His plan of making disciples in motion. In order for disciples to be made, we must teach them what we know of God’s word, what we have been entrusted with by another. Not everyone serves as a teacher in a formal sense (Ephesians 4:11) (James 3:1). But everyone should be able to teach others something (Hebrews 5:12-14). Men are you using every opportunity to teach the word of God in your home, at your job, with your friends, in your church, everywhere!
