What would be the purpose for God to chasten His children? Or why does the Sovereign God allow for hardships, sufferings, and trials in the lives of His children (those who by faith believe the gospel of Jesus Christ? 6. To increase our patience – (James 1:3-4)
7. To bring us into a better place – (Psalm 66:10-12)
8. To bring glory to God – (1 Peter 5:12-16)
