This morning you probably got up, grabbed your bible, and went somewhere in your home to pray. maybe that is the way you started your day. At least that is probably what should happen on a daily basis in all our lives. Especially when we realize that God gave Himself to us so we could enjoy Him and love Him. It is a mistake to view prayer as a legalistic obligation. Prayer is a privilege in the life of a Christian. Time with God is a privilege. It should never be looked at as a duty. We are not doing it for God’s sake, but for our sake. God wants us to do right. God wants us to draw near to Him. He does not want you to do it because you were forced, but because you want to. This morning, enjoy your time with the Lord in prayer. It is a great way to start the day. Read: (Matthew 6:5-8) (Philippians 4:6-7) (Hebrews 4:16)
