Redeem means to buy back. in the Christian world it is only God who can redeem us from sins. That’s the truth, you and I can’t, nobody can, only God can redeem us from our sin’s. He does so through Jesus (Hebrews 9:12). Did you catch that? The redemption price that was paid was not anything relating to money, but the redemption price was the precious blood of Jesus Himself.

Having said that as Christians we are…..a “chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special people. Peter makes a heart-felt plea concerning our conduct before those in the world (1 Peter 2:11-12). As we consider this “plea to pilgrims”, remember that Peter is speaking by inspiration; i.e., it is actually GOD who is making this plea!
