Let’s take another look at yesterday’s passage (Romans 5:3-11) and focus in on God’s plan of reconciliation in (5:11).

(Isaiah 40:31)…..But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

I came across this thought on prayer that I found in my files and thought I would share it with you all today. I know that all of us need encouragement in our prayer life.

The normalcy of that evening was shattered when the shepherds saw the angel of the Lord standing before them, and the glory of the Lord shining around them. What was going through their mind I wonder. We know that the Bible says – “they were greatly afraid” (Luke 2:9). Think about that for a moment. They were seized with great fear. They are terrified. So many today don’t really know what is in the doctrine of the Bible because they have never bothered to see what God has declared in it. What is sad about that statement is that there are many professing Christians who fall into that very category, whether by choice or by mere ignorance. Many simply shy …
