Leave Your Sin At The Cross

Posted on November 28, 2022November 28, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 28th, 2022

Man can come up with some pretty creative ways to try and justify his sins.

  • It’s not as bad as what that guy does!
  • That may be a sin for you – but it’s not for me!
  • I can handle this – it won’t effect me!

However, we need to stop trying to justify our sins and do exactly what the Lord Himself said to do with them – (1 John 1:9-10). When we do, He has promised to make us clean. Do you need to work on some things …

Let’s Magnify Him

Posted on November 24, 2022November 24, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 24th,2022

(Acts 10:46a)…..For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. (Psalm 34:3)…..Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.

In the New Testament, the word translated “magnify” is the Greek word “megaluno.” It means to make great or enlarge. We certainly cannot make God any greater, but we can perceive Him as greater in our lives. In other words, what we think of God can be enlarged.

When Scripture talks of magnifying God, we assume it meant they were praising God and talking of His greatness …

Thank-You LORD For Your Mercy

Posted on November 23, 2022November 23, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 23rd, 2022

“OH, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever” – (Psalm 107:1)

This Psalm is wholly devoted to the praise of God’s mercy. In each of the twenty-six verses of (Psalm 107), we have the expression: “His mercy endures forever.” The Psalmist was full of this glad thought. Our hearts too should be filled with the blessed assurance. The everlasting, unchangeable mercy of God is cause for unceasing praise and thanksgiving. Let us read what is said about God’s mercy in the well known Psalm, …

Be Thankful

Posted on November 22, 2022November 21, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 22nd, 2022

This week is Thanksgiving and there is so much to be thankful for. I bet you and I could sit down and make quite the list of Just how the LORD has dealt bountifully this year with each of us. But concerning spiritual things I was thinking of things to thank the LORD for. That list was long, so I will give you four.

Four Things To Thank God For

1. That God Has Qualified U

Can You Use Another Helper?

Posted on November 21, 2022November 20, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 21st, 2022

Life is difficult for sure. Anyone of us could use help to live out this life on a day to day (if not minute to minute) basis. We all could not use another helper? But for the Christian, that has been provided already. We who are Christ’s, have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. (John 14:16-18) says,…..”And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever, 17 “even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees …

We See God Through Jesus

Posted on November 18, 2022November 17, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 18th, 2022

Do you want to know God? I mean not just as an aquantance, but in a deep deep way. Then what you must do is get acquainted with Jesus through the pages of the Bible. (John 12:44-45)…..Jesus said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. “And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. Also, (John 14:7-10)…..”If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said …

Be Sure To Pray

Posted on November 17, 2022November 16, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 17th, 2022

Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Those are words from Paul to the believers in Rome. Prayer is a habit that, like every other good habit, must be developed. You know you need to pray. You need God’s help, His wisdom and His guidance, we need His help. But you must persevere in prayer. The activities of life try to keep you from praying. So persevere!

We are to keep watch at all times with prayer, that we might be strong enough to make it through all …

Today, Be An Imitator Of God

Posted on November 15, 2022November 14, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 15th, 2022

Did you know that the Bible tells you to imitate God? It does! Read (Ephesians 5:1-2). We are to be imitators of God, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. We have all seen someone imitating their parent, sibling, friend, hero, etc. Sometimes the person is glad, and sometimes embarrassed to be lifted to such a high place. However, we as children of God are supposed to imitate …

My God Is With Me!

Posted on November 14, 2022November 14, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 14th, 2022

(Romans 8:31)…..What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? We all face opposition. No one likes it. But opposition is a fact of life on earth. Trials, difficulties, problems, opposition, are a reality for every human born on this planet. But here’s a more important fact: with God for us, opposition and the like doesn’t really matter. With God on our side, what does it matter who opposes us? The worst anyone can do is kill us, right? Being a martyr …

Christian, You Are Part Of His Body

Posted on November 11, 2022November 10, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson November 11th, 2022

True Christianity is not a religion based on rules and rituals, but a living relationship with Jesus Christ. Many people reduce Christianity down to attending church meetings and trying not to commit a list of certain sins. But being a Christian is being united with Jesus, a member of His body, with His life in your heart. Jesus should be your focus, not religious activity, but the person of Jesus, the Lord and Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. Church …
