(Psalm 16:1-6)…..Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust. 2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord,“You are my Lord, my goodness is nothing apart from You.” 3 As for the saints who are on the earth, “They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” 4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take up their names on my lips. 5 O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance …

Are You New?
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”…..(2 Corinthians 5:17). To be in Christ is to be different from what we were before we were in Christ. What one was before being in Christ is “old” and what one is after being in Christ is “new”. There is a change that must take place. Was there a change that took place in you when you came to faith in Christ? Do you recognize that change? …
Keep Hanging On
(Hebrews 10:23)…..Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Sometimes it seems like there’s no hope and no help in some of the things we go through in life. Maybe even feeling like you have no more strength or ability to go on. You’re at the end of yourself and just can’t do any more. Don’t worry. Just hang on to your faith in God. Because, God is faithful. He will not forsake you. He has not forgotten you. He will not …
May We Edify
(1 Corinthians 10:23-24)…..All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. 24 Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being. As we pursue ways to edify one another as Christians let us understand that it is really the Lord Himself working through us to edify His own. Keeping that in perspective keeps us from boasting in ourselves.
Edify literally means to build a house, used here it is promoting the spiritual growth of …
The King and Lord Reigns
So you woke up this morning to two worlds, one seen in which you and I live and move, and the other in which the heavenly hosts live and move. Both have the same King and Lord, Jesus Christ, who is the creator and sustainer of all things, exercising His authority.
1. He is the Lord
- He is Lord of the heaven and earth – He made them
- (Psalm 24:1)…….“The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein”
- (Psalm 33:6)…….“By the word of the
You Are Vital
(1 Corinthians 12:22-25)….No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to the part that lacks it, that there be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
There are NO unnecessary parts in …
He Payed A Heavy Price
I suppose you are like me, I enjoy being in this country that allows us many freedom’s. We just celebrated the working man/woman who has been a huge part of the freedoms we have. Think of all those who have labored for us to have the country we have. We owe them a heart of gratitude for sure. Many men and women have given their lives, spilling their blood, to secure the freedom we sometimes take for granted, or even just don’t think about. There has been a tremendous price paid …
Oh, The Sweetness Of Grace
There may be no sweeter word known to mankind than the word “grace.” It is by Grace that God has granted us His merciful kindness, turning us to Christ, keeping us, strengthening us, and giving us the ability to grow in the grace and knowledge of Himself. Simply, grace is the unmerited love and favor of God for you a sinner. Grace is something that begins and ends with the Sovereign Lord. Listen, men/women do not seek God, God seeks them (Romans 3:9-18). Men/women do not initiate salvation, God does! …
The Eternity Of God
(Psalm 102:12-17)…..But You, O Lord, shall endure forever, and the remembrance of Your name to all generations. 13 You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come. 14 For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, and show favor to her dust. 15 So the nations shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. 16 For the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory. 17 He shall regard …
What Does The Lord’s Supper Tell Us?
This last Sunday we served communion at our church service, and as we were serving it I wondered how many realize why we celebrate this ordinance in the body of Christ (the Church). For sure the Lord’s Supper was an important activity in the weekly assemblies of the early believers (Matthew 26:26-28) (Luke 22:17-20) (Acts 2:42) (Acts 20:7). Christians assembled on Sunday, the first day of the week, to break bread with one another as they celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just like with many things in life, this …
