(Revelation 19:1-10)…..After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! 2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” 3 Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and …

Lord Help Me Pray
(Psalm 55:16-18)…..As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. 17 Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice. 18 He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me. Take note of what David said in these verses.
David said….”As for me, I will call upon God. David does not say he will call upon a creature, or on idols, or on a image, on …
Who Do You Say That I Am?
Not everyone in Jesus’ day thought He was Who He claimed to be, and it’s the same today. Many thought then that He was nothing more than a nobody, and many feel the same today. Many thought He was an evil man, and many feel the same today. Many thought He was irrelevant to the times, and many feel the same today. Many were unaffected by His words, and many feel His words are meaningless today. In His time on earth Jesus was thought of as nothing more than…….

What A Wonderful Resurrection
The Sadducees were wrong about the resurrection, just as it is possible for some people to be wrong about the resurrection today. It can happen so let’s go over a few things concerning the resurrection.
- The Resurrection Is A FactqA
- Jesus taught that there would be a resurrection in which both good and evil would rise from the grave – (John 5:28-29)
- Jesus assures those who believe in Him will be raised at the last day
- Read: (John 6:39-40,44,54) (John 11:25)
- Peter and John preached in Jesus the resurrection from
Being A Servant Of God
Being a servant of God is a great honor. But not many like the idea of being a servant, especially in the likeness of Jesus who gave Himself, who came to serve. He was foretold to come as the – Suffering Servant (Isaiah 52:13-15). He did not come to be served – but to serve – (Matthew 20:27-28) (Philippians 2:7). Even as our Lord and Master – He is the example the servitude that He desires of His disciple(John 13:12-17). Being a servant of our Lord Jesus …
Mark
Mark
A man who proved unreliable at first
- His name was John – surnamed Mark – son of Mary (Acts 12:12)
- He joined Paul and Barnabas on their return to Antioch (Acts 12:25)
- He started with Paul and Barnabas on their first journey (Acts 13:5)
- He left them prematurely and returned to Jerusalem (Acts 13:13)
- His departure later caused a rift between Paul and Barnabas (Acts 15:36-41)
He later proved useful to Paul for ministry – (2 Timothy 4:11) (Colossians 4:9-10)
- He was also dear to Peter – (1 Peter 5:13)
Luke
As we continue this week in looking at Demas, Luke, Mark, and Tychicus we come to Luke in (2 Timothy 4:11) where I’m asking who you would follow as a believer in Jesus Christ.
Luke
He too was a fellow laborer with Paul, a Gentile – a medical doctor and the beloved physician (Colossians 4:14). He proved to be a steadfast companion and faithful Christian, recording and writing the gospel of Luke and the book of Acts.
Will we follow in the steps of Luke? Living a life of faith characterized …
Redeemed By His Blood
Read: (106:6-43)
The Psalmist considers his own generation together with the fathers of old and regards their sin done as being just like their fathers sin (Ezra 9:6-15) (Daniel 9:4-19). This Psalm references 8 distinguishable sins by the people of Israel
- Rebellion – (106:6-12) – in Egypt – (Exodus 14:10-14; 15-17) – Lie: God can’t save us from our current situation
- Discontent – (106:13-15) – in the desert – (Exodus 16) (Numbers 11) – Lie: God will not provide what we need – what God has provided is not enough

As Paul nears the end of his second epistle to Timothy he mentions several people who had served with him in ministry at one time or another. Some proved faithful and some did not in the years that Paul traveled on his missionary journeys. I plan on looking at these four men in the next four days of devotions so that we can determine the qualities of a good, faithful servant, and the one who is not.

He Is Risen!
Well, it is the day after our celebration of our Lord’s resurrection and I just want to write down a few reminders for you, especially if you did not hear the truth preached at your home church. I say that realizing that for many churches, the programs on resurrection day are more to do with chocalate bunnies and egg hunts.
How important is Jesus’ resurrection from the grave? If Jesus had not been raised from the dead our – gospel preaching, and our faith is all vain, and we are still …
