Redemption – We Don’t Deserve It

Posted on April 6, 2022April 5, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 6th, 2022

The word redemption means a releasing effected by payment of ransom, or deliverance as a result of the payment of a ransom. Therefore redemption implies emancipation from the guilt, punishment, and power of sin (John 8:34-36) (Romans 7:24-25) (Galatians 3:13-14).

Our redemption is only through God’s grace and Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:29-31). The benefits for you and I in being redeemed by Jesus Christ are…..

  1. Forgiveness – (Colossians 1:14)
  2. Justification – (Romans 3:24-25)
  3. Adoption – (Galatians 4:4-5)
  4. Eternal Inheritance – (Hebrews 9:13-15)

After seeing all this in the …

You Can Do What Seems Impossible

Posted on April 5, 2022April 4, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 5th, 2022

Let’s look at two people from the Bible who did the impossible. But they did it anyway, because of God’s involvement.

(Hebrews 11:11)…..By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Sarah had a child when she was 91 years old (Genesis 17:17-21). Physically, it was impossible. She had long since lost the ability to bear children. But she did what she could not do. Sarah achieved this impossibility because …

See You At The Wedding?

Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 4th, 2022

(Revelation 19:1-10)…..After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! 2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” 3 Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen! Alleluia!” 5 Then a voice came …

I Can’t Wait To Go

Posted on April 1, 2022March 31, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 1st, 2022

As you sit down to read this devotion read (Psalm 84). Now we as believers in Jesus Christ is what is called the Church. Nobody who does not know God by being born again through faith in His gospel is part of His Church. So we are His Church. This we understand. So what is it that drives you to go to the (church building), that place where we the Church fellowships together? Why are you there on Sunday morning’s service, and the weekly bible studies, etc. Why do you …

When Am I Suppose To Rejoice?

Posted on March 31, 2022March 30, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson March 31st., 2022

(1 Thessalonians 5:16…..Rejoice evermore. (1 Thessalonians 5:16) NASB…..Rejoice always; If you only rejoice when things are perfect, you may not rejoice much in this life. Why miss out on something so pleasant? (Romans 12:12)…..Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. You can rejoice in hope! That means to rejoice ahead of time. Why? Because you expect deliverance. You know God’s blessing is coming your way because God is faithful. So rejoice now (Philippians 4:4). God never changes. He’s always good. Focus on Him TODAY and you …

Meditate On These Things

Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson March 30th, 2022

We wonder why we don’t get much out of preaching – studying – bible studies sometimes. We need to fix our minds upon the things of God. We allow our minds to feed on the filth of the world instead of spending time in God’s word. But if we would give as much energy to dwelling on the Word it would transform our time in our fellowship with Him.

Finally brethren whatever is…….true….(truthfulness) (sincere)….true in our words, actions, thoughts. Are our thoughts of God and others true, sincere (Ephesians 4:25) (Zechariah …

Who Shall Ascend

Posted on March 29, 2022March 28, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson March 29th, 2022

(Psalm 24:3-6)…..Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah

We have heard and seen in God’s word that He alone is the Sovereign King, He Jesus, the …

We Are His Church

Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson March 28th, 2022

(1 Corinthians 3:5-11)…..Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. …

Taste And See That God Is Good

Posted on March 25, 2022March 24, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan March 25th, 2022

(Psalm 145:8-9)…..The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works. The greatest deception is making people think God is bad. God is not guilty, of anything bad! The devil wants us to believe God is bad: that He is uncaring, that He does bad things to us, and that He is holding out on us, keeping us from enjoying good. But it isn’t true. God loves you more than you can …

Authentic Faith

Posted on March 24, 2022March 23, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson March 24th, 2022

(Hebrews 11:1-6)…..Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that …
