(Colossians 3:1-11)…..If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. 5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 …

Made In His Image
Believing and understanding the relationship between God the Creator, and man, the one created in God’s image, is essential to understanding biblical truth. Read: (Genesis 1:26-31; 2:7) (Job 12:10) (Psalm 95:6) (Psalm 100:1-3) (Psalm 139) (Isaiah 45:5-12) (Acts 17:24-28). We have seen that God spoke into being the heavens and the earth.
- He created light
- He created the waters above the earth – the expanse in between – the dry land and the oceans
- He created the plants – the trees – and the flowers
- He created the sun
Jesus – Our High Priest
So we have celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ this past weekend, and I hope it was a blessed time for you all. But I want you to know that Jesus was not raised just to conquer death, or to justify us before the Holy God, but that He was resurrected because He is our High Priest. (Hebrews 4:14)…..Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
In the Bible, what …
The Veil Was Torn
It is recorded in Matthew’s gospel, (Matthew 27:51-53)….. “And, behold, the veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from from top to the bottom; and the earth shook, and the rocks were split. And the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and came out of the tombs after His resurrection, they entered the holy city, and appeared unto many.”Think about that for a moment! There was an earthquake, rocks split open, tombs opened, and believers who had died walked …
Did The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ Really Happen? Well, Yes It Did!
It is that time of year where we have the privilege of celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Of course not everyone in the world will be celebrating the resurrection, not everybody has saving faith in Jesus Christ. There were many doubters at the time of the early church, and there are many doubters today who would deny it ever happened happened at all. So what evidence do we have that a resurrection actually happened?

“Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He Who Comes In The Name of the Lord!’
(Mark 11:1-10)…..Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples; 2 and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it. 3 And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.” 4 So they went their …
Are You A Son Of Abraham?
Abraham is a key figure in three of the world’s religions. He is the ancestor of the Jews (Hebrews) through his son Isaac. Muslims regard him as the ancestor of the Arabs through Ishmael. Christians regard him as their spiritual father through Christ (Galatians 3:29). What is important to Abraham and his linage are the promises God made to him. The land promise (Genesis 12:1,7) (Genesis 13:15-17). The promise of the nation (Genesis 12:2) (Genesis 13:16) (Genesis 17:6) (Genesis 18:18). The seed promise (Genesis 12:3) …
The Passover And Communion
It is that time of year where we will be celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. A resurrection that occurred because Jesus first came to die in our place, in order that we might live forever with Him. It is His death that has brought about life, it is that death and life we celebrate when we proclaim with remembrance the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
The Lord’s Supper was an important activity in the weekly assemblies of the early believers(Matthew 26:26-28) (Luke 22:17-20) (Acts 2:42) (Acts 20:7)…
It Is Well With My Savior
Man has sinned, rebelled against God, and so sin entered the world. (Genesis 2:16-17)…..“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Because of man’s sin he is separated from God. (Isaiah 59:1-2)…..“Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Nor his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But …
