(Philippians 4:4)…..Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! How many time have you read this verse, or heard it spoken by someone else? It is a small verse with a very tall order, at least it is for me. At least five times the Bible tells the people of God to rejoice in the Lord. We may not always be able to rejoice in other people, or in our circumstances. But we can rejoice in the LORD. Certainly, people can be frustrating. People can be immature. People can …

The Believer Is Righteous
Having been declared righteous, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ, much more, then, having been declared righteous now in his blood, we shall be saved through him from the wrath…..
The Bible clearly teaches that doctrine throughout its pages. It becomes even clearer when you realize that often the same word that is translated “righteous or made righteous” is instead translated “just or justified.” The Bible is full of rich truths like this, but they are not always on the surface. It can take a little digging …
Prayer With God Is A Privilege
This morning you probably got up, grabbed your bible, and went somewhere in your home to pray. maybe that is the way you started your day. At least that is probably what should happen on a daily basis in all our lives. Especially when we realize that God gave Himself to us so we could enjoy Him and love Him. It is a mistake to view prayer as a legalistic obligation. Prayer is a privilege in the life of a Christian. Time with God is a privilege. It should never be …
Why Does God Chasten Us?
What would be the purpose for God to chasten His children? Or why does the Sovereign God allow for hardships, sufferings, and trials in the lives of His children (those who by faith believe the gospel of Jesus Christ? This morning think about this if you are going through the chastening of the Heavenly Father. Our LORD chastens us for…..
- For our profit – (Hebrews 12:9-11)
- So we will not be condemned with the world – (1 Corinthians 11:31-32)
- To prevent us from sinning – (2 Corinthians 12:7-10)
- To prove His
Don’t Let Your Heart Be Troubled
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. Jesus told us to not let our hearts be troubled, that must mean it is possible to do. Jesus would never tell us to do something that was impossible for us to do (John 14:27). Believers are not exempt from trouble in this world. But Jesus the Victor is always with us to lead us into victory, no matter what we may face (Isaiah 26:3). If your heart is troubled, it means you are looking at, and …
The Same Grace!
(1 Corinthians 1:4-9)…..I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, 5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God …
Difficult Times Are Here!
Paul often warned his brethren of difficult days ahead, in Scripture such as (Acts 20:29-30) and (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3) (1 Timothy 4:1) (2 Timothy 3:1). So Paul’s words to Timothy in (2 Timothy 3:1-13) are especially helpful. They describe the “perilous times” that are to come and hey warn of the “perilous men” that we are to avoid during such times.
What will it be like in the last days? It will be “in the last days.” Used phrase which was used by Joel, and applied by Peter – (Acts 2:16-17) …
Redeemed and Justified!
He is the Lamb of God who would take away the sin of the world – (John 1:29). How would He do this?By offering His blood as the atonement for our sins – (Romans 5:8-9)
(Hebrews 9:12)…..Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption
(1 Peter 1:18-19)…..knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your …
Give Him Praise!
“Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.” (Psalm 33:1)
PRAISE will ever be a part of adoration. Adoration, when it has entered God’s presence and had fellowship with Him, will ever lead to the praise of His name. Let praise be a part of the incense we bring before God in our quiet time.
It was when the children of Israel, at their birth as the people of God at the Red Sea, had been delivered from the power of Egypt, that in …
He Is The One!
(Matthew 11:1-5)…..Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. 2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples 3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” 4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed …
