(Philippians 3:14)…..I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of
God in Christ Jesus.
Think about what we value in our culture, what’s important to most people as we live day today. Think about what we chase after as a people. What will really matter at the end of your life on earth? Will, what you are giving attention to now still be important then? Or, will you be filled with regret for what you did — or
didn’t do?
We have so many things in our lives that occupy our devotion, and …

Well, it seems that everywhere we look , there is chaos in the world. If we turn on the news, the television, the radio, we hear of famine, locusts, riots, earthquakes, devastating storms all around the world. So where does my mind go? I find myself thinking about the the return of Jesus Christ to this earth, and just how close that might be. Now I don’t know the day or time, nor would I venture to proclaim such a thing. But I feel it in my spirit if that makes sense. One thing I do know …

(Matthew 16:24-26)…..Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
So much can be said about these verses. As a matter of fact, we could probably get many sermons and …

I am confident that most of you, if asked, believe that the Bible is God’s infallible word. But when you read your Bible do you stop and meditate on the things you read and then put them into action, or do you just read words?

I have always been amazed at those with a dynamic prayer life. You know, those the Lord wakes up in the middle of the night to pray for someone on the other side of the world. The ones that pray through a crisis or trial with fervent desire for an answer from God. I am truly grateful for such prayer warriors, as they challenge me to pray more, and to pray as if I really wanted an answer from God according to what I am asking from Him. But like many, we tend to lose heart, or …
