Think of the things we feed on, not food, but the things we watch, read, and listen to. The world, the flesh, and the devil want us to feed on those things that don’t glorify Him. God wants us to feed on things that do glorify Him. What will we do?
(Philippians 4:8)…..Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things.

Have you ever wondered about the resurrection, what it will be like, and what It will look like? Do thoughts of the resurrection go through your mind? What will our new body look like? Who will we know? These are questions I get asked all the time. But I have noticed something over the years as a Christian and as a pastor. I’ve noticed that people equate resurrection with a destination. You know, resurrection means I’m going to heaven. Although that is partly true, it is not all of what resurrection is. …
(Hebrews 13:11-13)…..11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

What gives you joy? Is it family? Is it your job? Is it friends? Maybe you are filled with joy when you are involved in your favorite hobby. The world is satureated with things that plead for our affection with the hope that what it has to offer us will give us great joy. I have heard so many times in years of ministry that “God just wants me to be happy.” These words set people on a course to find the next best thing to bring them joy, when all the …
I love the United States of America! It is the greatest nation to live in, ever. Can I say that without offending anybody today? Probably not! Oh well, at least that is my opinion, even if it may not be yours. As bad as it seems sometimes, when I look around (okay all the time), there are still a lot of good qualities about America, yet there is much that needs to be corrected in the behavior and thinking of the American people, certainly when it comes to God’s Word, and our relationship to Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. …

Have you ever wondered just what God has in-store for your life? Or maybe you’ve wondered why God called you to salvation, and now that you are His you are wondering what is involved in the everyday life of a Christian? Sometimes the Lord does not directly show us and because of that, we may not really know why He has laid hold of us. I know this, that once the Lord places His call on you, serving Him (in whatever capacityHe plans) is what matters most. This reminds me of …

Whatever Happened To Sin? This is a relevant question, especially for today. Just turn on the TV, or the radio, or just take notice of the culture we live in today and you will see that sin is running rampant today. Sin is often made to be no big deal – taken too lightly, and there is no clear understanding by the masses that it blocks our relationship with the Holy God.
But this is also true of some professing to be Christians today. It is sad, but many professing Christians are …
