Well, it seems that everywhere we look , there is chaos in the world. If we turn on the news, the television, the radio, we hear of famine, locusts, riots, earthquakes, devastating storms all around the world. So where does my mind go? I have always been amazed at those with a dynamic prayer life. You know, those the Lord wakes up in the middle of the night to pray for someone on the other side of the world. The ones that pray through a crisis or trial with fervent desire for an answer from God. I am truly grateful for such prayer warriors, as they challenge me to pray more, and to pray as if I really wanted an answer from God according to what I am asking from Him. Think about how many ways people are trying to get to heaven these days. Many are relying on their own goodness (which is an impossibility according to what we are told in (Romans 3:10-18). Others are relying on their good works, which are not really good when they are compared to the Holy God, and His standards.
