What is it that you delight in? Is it sports? Is it work? Is it people? Is it some hobby you like? Just what is it that drives your passion? Maybe you can say it is the Lord Himself that delights your soul. I hope that is the case, after all isn’t that the way it is supposed to be?
(Matthew 22:37-38)…..Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.

But what about when it comes to His gospel or His kingdom, and things like that, do these things make Him happy?

(Nahum 1:3-8)…..The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,
and will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet. 4 He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, and the flower of Lebanon wilts. 5 The mountains quake before Him, the hills melt, and the earth heaves at His presence, yes, the world and all who dwell in it. 6 Who can stand before His indignation? …

In the New Testament – the gospel never means simply “a book” but rather the message. It is a message which Christ and His apostles proclaimed to the nations, through the authority of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20).

(Joshua 1:8)…..”This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will …
