March 28th, 2020 – Devotional with Pastor Dan

How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey my mouth.” (Psalm 119:103)

This book seeks to help us to worship God. Of the sixty-six books in the Bible, the book of Psalms is given us especially for this purpose. The other books are historical, or doctrinal, or practical. But the Psalms take us into the inner sanctuary of God’s holy presence, to enjoy the blessedness of fellowship with Him. It is a book of devotions inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Would you each morning truly meet God truly and …

The Word Of God

Friday March, 27th – Devotional #4

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, end of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

For intercourse with God, His word and prayer or both indispensable; and in the inner chamber they should not be separated. In His word, God, speaks to me: in prayer, I speak to God. The Word teaches me to know the God to whom I pray: it teaches me how He …

The Mercy Of God

Thursday, March 26th – Devotional # 3

“OH, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)

This Psalm is wholly devoted to the praise of God’s mercy. In each of the twenty-six verses of (Psalm 107), we have the expression: “His mercy endures forever.” The Psalmist was full of this glad thought. Our hearts too should be filled with the blessed assurance. The everlasting, unchangeable mercy of God is cause for unceasing praise and thanksgiving. Let us read what is said about God’s mercy in the well known Psalm, (Psalm 103)…

Sin

Wednesday, March 25th – Devotional # 2

“And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. (1 Timothy 1:14-15)

Never forget for a moment, as you enter the secret chamber, that your whole relation to God depends on what you think on sin, and of yourself as a redeemed sinner. It is sin that makes God’s holiness so awful. It is sin that makes God’s holiness …

God’s Greatness

Tuesday, March 24th – Devotion #1

In the times that we are in, I thought it would be good to put out a daily devotion that would allow for us to fellowship together as the body of Christ. This way we each can be meditating on the same passage each day, unifying us in shout as we pray for each other. I will use Andrew Murray’s devotions, which I have found to be a wonderful tool for spiritual growth. So please join me every day as I endeavor to put these devotions online for our mutual growth.

Ambassador’s, since we are unable to meet for the next few weeks we are posting an overview of (Galatians 3) for you to look at and study. Take time to review the chapter and on a separate piece of paper, either write or type the answers to the seventeen questions provided. Give some thought in your answers, maybe implying how each question affects you personally. Have fun.

OBJECTIVES IN STUDYING THIS CHAPTER

How Does The Christian Praise God?

Posted on March 22, 2020April 8, 2020

All living creatures are commanded to praise God (Psalm 150:6). One Hebrew word for “praise” is yadah, meaning “praise, give thanks, or confess.” A second word often translated “praise” in the Old Testament is zamar, “sing praise.” A third word translated “praise” is halal (the root of hallelujah), meaning “to praise, honor, or commend.” All three terms contain the idea of giving thanks and honor to one who is worthy of praise.

The book of Psalms is a collection of songs filled with praises to God. Among them is Psalm 9, which says, “I …
