(1 Corinthians 4:8-13)…..You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! 9 For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we aredishonored! 11 …
But The Veil Is “His Flesh”
…Christ is seen in every part of the tabernacle; and everywhere it is the riches of His grace that we see. Here “Christ is all and in all.” The whole fabric is Christ. Each separate part is Christ. The altar is Christ the sacrifice. The laver is Christ filled with the Spirit for us. The curtains speak of Him. The entrances all speak of Him. Candlestick, and table, and golden altar speak of Him. The Ark of the Covenant, the mercy-seat, the glory, all embody and reveal Him. Everything here says,
All Things Were Made Through Him and For Him
Three Keys To A Blessed Marriage
(John 13:17)…..If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
- Be Thankful. It all starts with attitude. If you don’t stay on the positive side, failure is inevitable. You cannot have a happy marriage without happy people. Have you noticed that unthankful people are never happy?
- Express Your Appreciation. Let your spouse know by word and deed that you appreciate them. Be specific and lavish in your praise and thanks. Nothing encourages people like encouragement from another. People love people who love them. If you want
God Is For Us!
(Romans 8:31)….. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?We all face opposition. No one likes it. But opposition is a fact of life on earth. But here’s a more important fact: with God for us, opposition doesn’t really matter. With God on our side, what does it matter who opposes us? The worst anyone can do is kill us, which would be doing us a favor. (Being a martyr for Christ and going to be with Him in Heaven …

God is calling to Himself a people, “not from among the Jews only, but also from among the Gentiles.” As Paul put it in (Ephesians 2:13)…..“But now in Christ Jesus you [the Gentiles] who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” He adds in (Ephesians 2:19)…..“So …
Does The Gospel Cause You to Rejoice?
I came across this writing in my files so I thought I would share it with you. It is from the Puritan writer Thomas Goodwin (1600-1680), but is very fitting for today. Hope you enjoy the read, but please think about what is said.
…Does the gospel, the good news that God saved you from sin and judgment by His great love and mercy, cause your heart to rejoice and your soul to be flooded with gratitude? Does the fact that you could have been a vessel of wrath prepared for
There Is Only One Potentate
(Psalm 115:3)…..But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.
(Psalm 135:6)…..Whatever the Lord pleases He does, In heaven and in earth, In the seas and in all deep places.
Our God IS Sovereign! But in order to understand the sovereignty of God, we need to know what sovereignty means. Sovereign means one who exercises supreme authority, and has freedom from external control. One who is sovereign is above everything and can do as they please.
In the beginning there was only God. He was (is) Sovereign and could …
