Jesus Christ The Righteous King

Posted on May 5, 2022May 4, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson May 5th, 2022

Take a moment and read (Psalm 2). This particular Psalm is a Messianic Psalm, that is, it is a prophesy of Jesus Christ the Messiah, hundreds of years before He was born into this world. This psalm not only spoke powerfully in the day it was written, but it speaks powerfully and prophetically to us as the Church today. No matter how dark the times, how wicked our nation becomes, we can rest with assurance that Jesus Christ, the Righteous King, still reigns as Lord and Ruler over all the Earth …

He Has Freely Given Us All Things

Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson May 2nd, 2002

(Romans 8:32)…..He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for
us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Most people approach prayer as an exercise in convincing God to help them. They think they must twist God’s arm, or promise to do something, in order to get God to give them anything. The New Testament paints a different picture. God not only is a willing giver, but has already given to us all things that pertain to life and Godliness (2 …

The Marriage Of The Lamb Has Come!

Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 29th, 2022

(Revelation 19:1-10)…..After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! 2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” 3 Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and …

Lord Help Me Pray

Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 28th, 2022

(Psalm 55:16-18)…..As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. 17 Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice. 18 He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me. Take note of what David said in these verses.

David said….”As for me, I will call upon God. David does not say he will call upon a creature, or on idols, or on a image, on …

Who Do You Say That I Am?

Posted on April 27, 2022April 26, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 27th,

Not everyone in Jesus’ day thought He was Who He claimed to be, and it’s the same today. Many thought then that He was nothing more than a nobody, and many feel the same today. Many thought He was an evil man, and many feel the same today. Many thought He was irrelevant to the times, and many feel the same today. Many were unaffected by His words, and many feel His words are meaningless today. In His time on earth Jesus was thought of as nothing more than…….

What A Wonderful Resurrection

Posted on April 26, 2022April 25, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 26th, 2022

The Sadducees were wrong about the resurrection, just as it is possible for some people to be wrong about the resurrection today. It can happen so let’s go over a few things concerning the resurrection.

  1. The Resurrection Is A FactqA
  • Jesus taught that there would be a resurrection in which both good and evil would rise from the grave – (John 5:28-29)
  • Jesus assures those who believe in Him will be raised at the last day
  • Read: (John 6:39-40,44,54) (John 11:25)
  • Peter and John preached in Jesus the resurrection from

Being A Servant Of God

Posted on April 25, 2022April 24, 2022
Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 25th, 2022

Being a servant of God is a great honor. But not many like the idea of being a servant, especially in the likeness of Jesus who gave Himself, who came to serve. He was foretold to come as the – Suffering Servant (Isaiah 52:13-15). He did not come to be served – but to serve – (Matthew 20:27-28) (Philippians 2:7). Even as our Lord and Master – He is the example the servitude that He desires of His disciple(John 13:12-17). Being a servant of our Lord Jesus …

Daily Devotion With Pastor Dan Nickerson April 22nd, 2022

Mark

A man who proved unreliable at first

  • His name was John – surnamed Mark – son of Mary (Acts 12:12)
  • He joined Paul and Barnabas on their return to Antioch (Acts 12:25)
  • He started with Paul and Barnabas on their first journey (Acts 13:5)
  • He left them prematurely and returned to Jerusalem (Acts 13:13)
  • His departure later caused a rift between Paul and Barnabas (Acts 15:36-41)

He later proved useful to Paul for ministry – (2 Timothy 4:11) (Colossians 4:9-10)

  • He was also dear to Peter – (1 Peter 5:13)
