His Glorious Resurrection

Well here we are, in the midst of an election fiasco in our country. Our political parties at complete odds against each other, vying for who will have the power over the other. Ideals and convictions of individuals at the forefront of their voting. Everybody glued to the news channels hoping for some sign that would be given that they have won in someway through their canidate. I guess we are people who need evidence that there is something better for us in the future.
Well I was thinking …
Our God Is Faithful (pt.2)

Again, the Bible tells us that God is faithful, and it can be seen in many verses such as (Exodus 34:6) (Psalm100:5) (Psalm 117:2).God is faithful to His name – (Psalm 106:8). What we can see always the Scriptures is that God is faithful to His character, always! One of the most powerful words to describe God’s character is the Hebrew word “hesed” which is translated “steadfast love” (Deuteronomy 7:9). He is known as a God who is upright, therefore we can trust that He will …
Our God Is Faithful

(Psalm 89:30-37)…..30 “If his sons forsake My law and do not walk in My judgments,
31 If they break My statutes
And do not keep My commandments, 32 Then I will punish their transgression with the rod,
and their iniquity with stripes. 33 Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him,
Nor allow My faithfulness to fail. 34 My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. 35 Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David: 36 His seed shall …
God’s Choices Are Surprising

The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.” 2 But Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears about it, he will kill me.” The Lord said, “Take a heifer with you and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’ 3 Invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what to do. You are to …

O Lord Come

19 The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house. 20 All the brothers and sisters here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss. 21 I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand. 22 If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be cursed! Come, Lord! 23 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. 24 My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen. …
Giving The Sacrifice Of Thanksgiving To Our God

The Bible teaches us that true gratitude has a price: “Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing” (Psalm 107:22). At first glance, that command may seem peculiar to us. “Sacrifices of thanksgiving? I thought we were thankful because we don’t have to sacrifice.” But the truth is that when we are thankful as we should be, we will be “moved” to sacrifice. In the first century of the church, the Christians in Macedonia were very poor. Yet, when they heard about the desperate …
Look In The Mirror

James 1:21-27)…..21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is …
