I was thinking this morning of just how fearful so many are with what is going on in the world today. I know for me, fear is possible if I take my eyes off the Lord and His Word for just a short time. We cannot come to know Jesus solely through another person’s acquaintance with Him. While we may initially learn about Jesus from others – we must come to know Him for ourselves. Like Paul – we must speak in the first person: “that I may know Him” – (Philippians 3:10).
- It must be an affectionate knowledge
- If I know Him at all – I must love Him
- Indeed – I am accursed if I do not! – (1 Corinthians 16:22)

Every Hair Is Numbered

One thing I know is that I am folically challenged. Yep, I am bald. Well not completely, I just shave my head because there is not enough hair to worry about. The great thing about that is that it is easy for God to keep track of the hairs on my head. So why should I fear right?
(Luke 12:7)…..But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
