If you believe in God, then you should recognize Jesus as King, because Jesus is God. So many people do not understand why it is so great that this is true. Yet, the word of God (His Scriptures) goes out of the way to declare this truth to us. Go ahead and read these verses and meditate on them this morning, and realize that it is God (Jesus) who loves you and redeemed you.
- (John 1:1) – declares it plain
- (1 John 5:20) – declares it plainly
- (Psalm 45:6) (Hebrews 1:8) – Prophetic passage the Hebrew writer uses to prove that Jesus is God
- (Psalm 118:28) – Prophetic passage referring to Jesus
- (Isaiah 9:6) – The Mighty God; The everlasting Father
- Thomas declared it: (John 20:28)
- He was worshipped as God; (Luke 24:52)…..“and they worshipped him.”
- Jesus proved He was God because He raised Himself from the dead
- (Acts 2:32) says that God raised Jesus up
- (John 10:17) – Jesus had the power to raise himself
- (Galatians 1:1) – The Father raised Jesus
- (Romans 8:11) – The Holy Spirit raised Jesus
The only conclusion is that Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are God! What a truth this morning to wake up to. How is it that we worry so much when we have such a powerful God who fights for us daily. Today, enjoy you fellowship with Him.
