This morning we are still looking at (2 Timothy 2:1-2). God is looking for fat men to use. Do you qualify? God wants men who are Faithful, Able, and Teaching. This morning let’s address the “Able” attribute that God wants in men. Men, you who are husbands, fathers, single, really all of us, we need to be able (competent) men of God, able men who can teach others the word of God (Ezra 7:10) (1 Timothy 3:1-13) (2 Timothy 2:24-25). We are to be men of great uprightness and integrity. Who having the word of God, will speak it out boldly, faithfully, and keep back nothing that is profitable. Declaring the whole counsel of God without any mixture or adulteration. A great example here is Paul talking to the Ephesian elder’s – (Acts 20:17-32). Men are you able, that is are you competent to handle God’s word? Would God consider you “able?”
