(Psalm 45:1-10)…..My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. 2 You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever. 3 Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, with Your glory and Your majesty. 4 And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things. 5 Your arrows are sharp in the …

Preach The Gospel
How was the gospel preached by Paul?
- Not with flattery
- Paul did not resort to flattering words to gain an audience
- Flattery can is a tool used by false teachers – (2 Peter 2:18)
- Not with covetousness
- Covetousness is another tool of false teachers – (2 Peter 2:1-3)
- Paul was careful not to take advantage of his brethren through greed
- Without seeking glory from men
- Any such glory would have been vain glory – (Proverbs 25:27)
- With gentleness and affection
- He was gentle, like a nursing mother with her
He Is God! Do You Believe?
If you believe in God, then you should recognize Jesus as King, because Jesus is God. So many people do not understand why it is so great that this is true. Yet, the word of God (His Scriptures) goes out of the way to declare this truth to us. Go ahead and read these verses and meditate on them this morning, and realize that it is God (Jesus) who loves you and redeemed you.
- (John 1:1) – declares it plain
- (1 John 5:20) – declares it plainly
- (Psalm 45:6) (Hebrews 1:8)
Jesus Can Save Us!
The world we live in is insane! We are seeing first hand the depravity of man due to his sin nature. We are seeing first hand just what a culture (a Nation) looks like when God turns it over to a debased mind. I watch our nations leaders try to lead us into what is forged by demonic wisdom. But in it all just let me say that Jesus Christ is my hope, my life, my Lord, my Savior, my King, my rest, my righteousness, my justification, and so much more. …
High Cost
Perhaps you have heard it said: “The best things in life are free!” This is especially true when you consider that the “best” thing in life is a gift…I am speaking of that which God offers to all who will accept it: “eternal life”It is truly a “gift from God”! -And yet, though eternal life is a gift…A high cost was paid to offer the gift And a high cost must be paid to receive it! A high cost for a free gift? How can that be? This “paradox” can …
Walk Instep With The Spirit
(Galatians 5:15-26)…..15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another! 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh …
He Will Judge With Righteousness
(Psalm 72:1-4)…..Give the king Your judgments, O God, and Your righteousness to the king’s Son. 2 He will judge Your people with righteousness, and Your poor with justice. 3 The mountains will bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. 4 He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor.
Man’s rule on earth has been a failure since his fall into sin. That fall is characterized by – oppression – injustice …
Three Imperatives Of Jesus’ Resurrection
Why is it necessary for God to give us evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament? What significance does it have for us? The resurrection is one of the major evidences that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Romans 1:1-4). The resurrection declares to us and the world that Jesus Christ IS ALIVE (Revelation 1:17-18). The resurrection is proof that God has accepted Jesus as a sacrifice for our deliverance! (Romans 8: 31-34). The resurrection is assurance that we can have …
He Is Coming Soon – How’s Your Oil?
(Matthew 25:1-13)…..“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ 7 …
Christian – You Are!
You are “Beloved!” But beloved by who? By Peter, of course (1 Peter 2:12) (1 Peter 4:12). By Paul, James, John, & Jude, all of whom used this same term of endearment. But most of all, we are beloved of God and Jesus! – (Romans 1:7) (Colossians 3:12). It is out of such human and divine love that this plea is made.
You are “Sojourners and Pilgrims,” in that you have not yet reached your heavenly home. As we will see later, failure to heed the plea will mean you will …
