God speaks to us loudly through His creation, and in it He reveals His glory and His handiwork (Psalm 19:1-4). It also reveals His eternal power and divine nature (Romans 1:19-20). Through the intelligent design of the universe God says, “I exist!” How well do we listen? Do we take the time to consider the wonders of the creation? The Psalmist took time to contemplate them (Psalm 8:3) (Psalm 104:24-25) (Psalm 139:14). It prompted Einstein to believe in “an Intelligence that produced the integrative complexity of creation.” …

Jesus Is The Friend Of Sinners
(Matthew 11:19)…..”The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, `Look, a gluttonous man and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Jesus had trouble with the religious leaders of His day, because He was a friend of sinners. Jesus is the same today. He never changes. Jesus is your friend.
What does (Luke 19:7) tell us? But when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.”
Religious people couldn’t understand how Jesus …
The Tongue Can Be A Very Sharp Sword
(Psalm 57:4-6)…..I am in the midst of lions; I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts – men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords. 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. 6 They spread a net for my feet – I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path – but they have fallen into it themselves.
Let’s start this morning by reading in (1 Samuel 16:4-13) (1 Samuel 18:1-16). It …
Truly God Is Good
We can study the Scriptures and see that God is good, always! His goodness is seen as…….
- Abundant – (Exodus 34:6)
- Great – (Psalm 31:19)
- Lasting – (Psalm 52:1)
Notice, the goodness of God is to such as are pure in heart. Is that you? The word “pure” comes from the word “katharos,” and it carries the idea of being cleansed or purified. Unmixed, as a pure substance, one not mixed with something else like oil and water. Notice the use of the word in (Matthew 23:25-26) (John 15:3)

He Is My Refuge And Fortress
(Psalm 91:1-8)…..He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the …
The Lord Preserves Us!
(Psalm 16:1-6)…..Preserv me, O God, for in You I put my trust. 2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” 3 As for the saints who are on the earth, “They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” 4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take up their names on my lips. 5 O Lord, You are the portion of …
Merry Christmas
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
Luke 2:13-14
Today be thinking of how much God gave us in the gift of his Son…..then praise Him for the salvation you have been given in Him.
Merry Christmas!
Why Should We Pray?
(John 15:5)…..”I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
This verse has spoken volumes to me in the past years. It became even my go to verse for a year or so, always coming up in my thoughts and conversations. This verse really points people to the importance of prayer, and staying in communications with the Lord. There are three reasons to pray: for God’s benefit, for your benefit, and for …
Jesus, No Ordinary Man!
Just the fact that God stepped out of eternity into time is almost mind boggling. I read of the shepherds lowly and undeserving. I read of the angels amazed that the Creator was born in the image of the creature. I read of the wise men and that these Gentiles traveled far to praise the Lord Jesus Christ. I read of the manger and I am reminded that Jesus as a baby was still holding all His creation together as He played in the arms of His mother. I read …
He Shall Be Great!
(Luke 1:32-33)…..32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
This verse in Scripture reaches far back beyond the time of David to the days of Jacob. It brings to mind the words of Jacob spoken to his son Judah just before he died (Genesis 49:8-12). As he lay dying, …
