Is the Christian life tough or easy? Which is it supposed to be? Does our daily walk with the Lord cause us difculty, hardship, sufering, and loss? Or does it pave the way for an easy road to heaven?
If we look at some of the people in the Bible — the ones who were faithful to the Lord — we see that they didn’t have a life of ease – (Hebrews 11:24-38). Paul, for example, faced difculties that would make most of us wonder where God is — shipwrecks, imprisonments, …

God knows those who are His. He knows if we belong to Him or not. He knows all of our thoughts, all of our past, all of our hopes, all of our ambitions. The truth be told, He knows us better than we know ourselves. We do not need to worry that our Father in heaven will ever stop loving us (Romans 8:37-39) because  He knows each of us personally, as a father knows his own child (John 10:14). God’s word tells us that the Gospel is the “power of God,” (Romans 1:16)….for it is the power of God.…The word “power” comes from a word that refers to the “might – energy – strength that dwell within God.” From it comes the english word “dynamite.” When God takes a lost sinner and saves him by His grace and makes him a new creature (creation) that is a powerful thing. So powerful, so explosive is the power of the gospel, that no flesh and bone can remain unaffected by it …

(Proverbs 1:7)…..”The fear of the Lord” is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The “fear of the Lord” will cause one to hate evil – (Proverbs 8:13). The “fear of the Lord” will prolong life – (Proverbs 10:27). The “fear of the Lord” provides strong confidence and is a fountain of life – (Proverbs 14:26-27). (Psalm 119:89)…..Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.

Heaven is not running around trying to figure out the will of God. His Word is settled in Heaven. God surely had enough time before the Bible was written down to make any changes in His plans. Now that He has given His Word, He will keep it and see that it comes to pass. That’s His promise to us. (Mark 13:31)…..”Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” And in (Isaiah 40:8) …

“God is the Rock of my salvation.” That title occurs several times in the Old Testament (Deuteronomy 32:15) (2 Samuel 22:47) (Psalm 89:26) and in our text (Psalm 95:1)(Psalm 62:6-7) (Psalm 121:1-4). In each case the expression evokes a sense of security. God is secure, and is trustworthy, He is the rock-solid Savior
