(Hebrews 8:13)…..In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. The Old Covenant was an agreement between God and the children of Israel. We have the record of it in the Old Testament. The New Covenant is an agreement between God and Jesus Christ. Therefore it includes all who are united with Jesus Christ, or as the Bible says, all those who are “in Christ.” The name we give to the 27 books …

The Supremacy Of Christ
The first four verses of Hebrews is one of the most informative sentences relating to Jesus saying: “God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself …
The Value Of Scripture
(2 Timothy 3:14-17)…..14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.…
Is The Cross Foolishness?
(1 Corinthians 1:18-25)…..18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom …
The Word “Gospel”
I want you to read the verse again from yesterday’s devotion, but I want to focus in on another word that is used in that passage, the word “gospel.” (Romans 16:21-27)…..21 Timothy, my fellow worker, and Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my countrymen, greet you. 22 I, Tertius, who wrote this epistle, greet you in the Lord. 23 Gaius, my host and the host of the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the treasurer of the city, greets you, and Quartus, a brother. 24 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ …
Give Praise To God
(Romans 16:21-27)…..21 Timothy, my fellow worker, and Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my countrymen, greet you. 22 I, Tertius, who wrote this epistle, greet you in the Lord. 23 Gaius, my host and the host of the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the treasurer of the city, greets you, and Quartus, a brother. 24 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. 25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation …
Waiting On God
(Psalm 27:11-14)…..Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. 12 Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence. 13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. 14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!

Who Shall Ascend?
(Psalm 24:3-10)…..Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah
7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the …
Christ Died For Us
(Romans 5:6)…..Christ died for the ungodly. Jesus Christ did not come to earth to help those who have it altogether, who think they are well, but to help ungodly sinners. (Romans 5:8)…..But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus paid the price required by God for the forgiveness of all sins through His death. (Ephesians 1:7)…..In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. The spiritual battle that happens …
He Is Lord
Why is it that we can trust God? Because He is Lord (my Lord) – (Adonay; Ad-o-noy). He has authority and power, and is matchless in His being. David wrote “The LORD said to my Lord…” (Psalm 110:1). Thomas said, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:27-28). Paul wrote, “…Christ Jesus my Lord” (Philippians 3:7-8), by virtue of His death and resurrection (Romans 14:8-9). Peter also proclaimed Jesus as Lord to the Jews on Pentecost (Acts 2:36). and to the Gentiles at Cornelius’ home …
