Think about how many ways people are trying to get to heaven these days. Many are relying on their own goodness (which is an impossibility according to what we are told in (Romans 3:10-18). Others are relying on their good works, which are not really good when they are compared to the Holy God, and His standards. When we look at modern Christian literature in book stores or on line it is easy to be discouraged by what we see.
