May 13th, 2020 – Morning Devotion With Pastor Dan

This certainly has been a difficult time for everybody, with the governments stay at home order, and with all the restrictions due to the Corona virus. But with all the worry and fear, I have found it to be an open door in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to many people. Many are willing to hear the message of hope, because all they hear from the news and the political environment is that there is none. What a sad time for so many who do not know the Lord Jesus …

Jesus Is Our Righteousness

Posted on May 12, 2020May 11, 2020

May 12th, 2020 – Morning Devotion With Pastor Dan

(Romans 5:1-2)…..Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

What is amazing about God’s righteousness (the righteousness of Christ) is it is free to anyone who places faith in Jesus Christ. What is righteousness then, and why do we need it? Righteousness means right-wise-ness, or being right. So righteousness is right standing or good standing with God. The …

Why Do We Need The Gospel Of Christ?

May 11th, 2020 – Morning Devotion With Pastor Dan

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared …

The Believers Walk

Posted on May 10, 2020May 10, 2020

May 10th, 2020 – Morning Devotion With Pastor Dan

(Ephesians 4:20-24)…..But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,  and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Here are some thoughts this morning on what a believers (Christian) walk should look like

We were …

Covid-19 and Christian Duty in an Unprecedented Time

Posted on May 9, 2020May 13, 2020

By: Dan Manson

It has pleased God according to His all wise, always good, eternal and immutable decree to grip this nation in fear by afflicting the world with this virus, Isa 45:7.  Nothing like this has confronted us in our lifetime.  As the elders pray through this situation, James 1:5, we find God, true to His Word, causing this to work for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose, Rom 8:28.  There are many blessings coming out of this situation.  Record Bible sales, debauchery slowed, wickedness not as openly celebrated…etc.  More than that, …

We’re To Give Thanks In Everything

Posted on May 9, 2020May 9, 2020

May 9th, 2020 – Morning Devotion With Pastor Dan

(1 Thessalonians 5:18 – NKJV)…..In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

What are you thankful for these days? Given some time, you could probably list so many things that you are thankful for, especially for what is considered good things. But think about the times we are in right now, and notice the verse in First Thessalonians. We are to give thanks in everything. Is that what is happening in the life of many Christians today? In you? In me? What about …

Birth Marks Of A Believer

Posted on May 8, 2020May 8, 2020

May 9th, 2020 – Morning Devotion With Pastor Dan

Good morning! I hope you are doing ok on this fine Friday morning. Grab some coffee, your Bible, a prepared heart, and let us dig into God’s Word.

To start with, grab your Bible and turn to – (1 John 2:3-10)

Those who are Heaven-born are Heaven-bound and bear certain traits or birthmarks. If we do not bear these birthmarks, then we need to evaluate and ask ourselves if we have ever truly trusted Jesus as Lord.

In reality, a true believer submits to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Is that …

Jesus The Crucified King

May 7th, 2020 – Morning Devotion With Pastor Dan

To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy 1:17 – ESV)

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 – ESV)

Which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,….(1 Timothy 6:15 – ESV)…
