(Matthew 1:18-25)…..18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to …

His Mercy Endures Forever!
“OH, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)
This Psalm is wholly devoted to the praise of God’s mercy. In each of the twenty-six verses of (Psalm 107), we have the expression: “His mercy endures forever.” The Psalmist was full of this glad thought. Our hearts too should be filled with the blessed assurance. The everlasting, unchangeable mercy of God is cause for unceasing praise and thanksgiving. Let us read what is said about God’s mercy in the well known Psalm, …
A Gift – For Me?
Jesus’ humble birth signified the kind of life He would live all the time He was here on this earth. At one point in His ministry He had no place to call home (Matthew 8:20). When He died others provided the things necessary for His burial (John 19:38-42). God Who made everything, Who owns everything, Who possess all authority and all power, Who is mighty in glory and majesty, humbled Himself so you could have everything in heavenly places in Christ. So glorious is He (John 8:58) (John …
Why Did Jesus Come Into This World?
It seems to me that we are surrounded by the commercialization of Christmas which seems to start earlier and earlier every year, again that’s how it seems to me. With that, whether it is by denial, forgetfulness, or out of ignorance, so many people have no concept of who Jesus is or why Jesus entered this sinful world. Yet, Christmas is the most popular aspect of Jesus for many, both Christians and Non-Christians. People love the account of the birth of Jesus – but why?
They think that the baby …
The Ministry Of Reconciliation
(2 Corinthians 5:19)…..that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
The Good News is about reconciliation between God and man. Jesus Christ accomplished it, by His own power and might. Mankind was estranged from God. We had gone our own way, were lost, dead, and couldn’t find our way back to relationship or fellowship with God. Fortunately, God loved us and did something to help us.
Two extremely important ideas are presented in …
Father Thank You For The Crucifixion
Every step Jesus took in His earthly life was leading Him to the place the Greeks called, “Topos Kranion” the Hebrews called, “Golgotha” and the Romans called “Calvary”. It was known to all as “The Place of the Skull” (John 19:17) (Luke 23:3(Matthew 16:21) (Matthew 17:22-23) (Matthew 20:28) (Matthew 26:2). He had been arrested, tried and convicted in a mock trial, false witnesses had been called against Him and He had been abused by the guards, then He had been taken to Pilate where He was beaten by Pilate’s …
Who Is Jesus?
Not everyone in Jesus’ day thought He was Who He claimed to be, and it is the same today. Many thought then that He was nothing more than a nobody, many feel the same today. Many thought He was an evil man, many feel the same today. Many thought He was irrelevant to the times, many feel the same today. Many were unaffected by His words, many feel His words are meaningless today. In His time on earth Jesus was thought of as nothing more than…….

Christian! You Are Free In Christ
I suppose you are like me, I enjoy being in this country that allows us many freedom’s. But I suppose history will change this for us in days and years to come. Many men and women have given their lives, spilling their blood, to secure the freedom we sometimes take for granted, or even just don’t think about. There has been a tremendous price paid so that we could be a free people. But for the Christian, we are not just free in this nation; we are free in heaven …
Wise Men Still Seek Him
Imagine the being told that a King was going to be born in a distant land. How many of us would think that his birth would be important enough to spend the time to travel hundreds, if not thousands of miles on foot, or on a camel to see him? These Wise Men had spent the better part of two years following a star (2:7,16). To follow this star, they had left homes, maybe family and friends, really the left a lot behind. They had left their country and …
Worship God
Worship is the response of all that man is to all that God is and does. We are not to worship for what we can get out of it, but because God is worthy of it. The Bible brilliantly teaches us that God is to be the sole object of our worship (Matthew 4:8-10). Since God is to be the exclusive object of our worship, it follows then that we are not to worship
