What began as a soup kitchen over 70 years ago in Spokane has expanded into a ministry encompassing four shelters, three thrift stores, an automotive enterprise, and a summer camp. Union Gospel Mission provides food, shelter, and individualized pathways out of homelessness to men, women, and children across Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Services include case management, addiction recovery, job training, and much more.

Steve and Rebecca McMath work with the Wycliffe Bible Translators. They met while serving at Bible Camp. Steve McMath served in the Marine Corps. He was introduced to JAARS (Jungle Aviation and Radio Service) and the important role of aviation and technology in missions. Steve and Rebecca married and started planning to serve in the field of missionary aviation, while Steve was still in the Marine Corps. After getting out of the military in 2016, Steve attended aircraft maintenance training at Moody Bible Institute. Andrew Prout is a missionary that has served in several countries located in The Middle East, South Asia, and Europe. Andrew and his wife Rabya have three children and have been involved in sharing the gospel, church-planning, and leadership development for 20 years. They have been working with the Christar ministry while being involved in training future pastors and missionaries. They are involved in educating the next leaders in the 10/40 Window. The 10/40 Window is an area in North Africa, The Middle East, and Asia and also makes up the least evangelized countries.
